Egypt Air Boeing 777 was damaged by tow truck engine fire

An Egyptian Air Boeing 777-300 aircraft was damaged by the engine fire of towing truck at Cairo International Airport.

The engine of the towing truck caught fire while towing an Egypt Air Boeing 777, to be positioned for a flight. The emitted flames from the truck damaged the nose section of the aircraft.

The firefighters were managed to put out the flames before it could spread to the airplane. There were ne passengers inn the plane at the time of the incident and reported no injuries. The plane was towed back to hangar for evaluation and repair.
