Air Canada Boeing 787 entered a wrong taxiway and got stuck for almost 5 hours at Tokyo Airport

Air Canada Boeing 787-8 got stuck on a partially unpaved taxiway under construction at Narita airport, Japan.

The flight AC5 with 11 crew and 201 passengers, from Montréal, Canada to Tokyo, Japan exited in the wrong spot and entered a taxiway under construction after landing on Runway 16L.

The aircraft with passengers got struck for more than 5 hours as the uneven and partially paved taxiway made difficult for the ground crew to tow the aircraft out.

The aircraft is finally being towed back to the gate after landing almost 5 hours ago at 15.35LT.
