Engine parts of Air France A380 which suffered uncontained engine failure have been found in Greenla

Air France A380 parts of engine has been found in Greenland. The parts will be sent to the USA to be examined by Engine Alliance. On September 30, 2017, Air France A380 (reg. F-HPJE) suffered a serious engine failure over Greenland and had to divert to Gose Bay. During the flight, engine #4 (right hand side) suffered issue causing the loss of the engine inlet cowling. The Engine Alliance GP7000 is a turbofan jet engine manufactured by Engine Alliance. It is one of the powerplant options available for the Airbus A380, along with the Rolls-Royce Trent 900.
