TAP Air Portugal To Serve New York Four Times Daily

Portuguese carrier, TAP, is expanding their services in summer of 2020. A key highlight includes four daily flights between Portugal and New York. In addition, TAP is expanding their services across Europe, Israel, and even building up in Africa. Here’s a look at what 2020 will bring for TAP’s route network. New York gets four daily flights TAP announced the summer expansions in a press release. New York City is one of the most important destinations for airlines and passengers alike. For some airlines, New York is such a prestigious route despite not reaping the intended rewards. Two of these flights will operate between Lisbon and New York’s-JFK airport. One flight will serve the Lisbon-Newark Liberty market. And, the last flight will operate between Porto and Newark Liberty. Newark Liberty is a United Airlines, and fellow Star Alliance partner, hub. So, TAP Air Portugal can leverage connections to and from Portugal across the United States.
