LOT Polish airlines introduces special livery to marks the country’s 100 year celebration on 11 november 1918
The 2018 marks the the centenary of the state of Poland regaining its independence, after 123 years of partitions by Austria-Hungary, Germany, and Russia. The Polish Military Organization’s secret departments, demobilized soldiers, and legionnaires disarmed the Germans in Warsaw and other Polish towns and regained its sovereignty on 11 november 1918.
LOT Polish Airlines, is the flag carrier of Poland, based in Warsaw Chopin Airport was established on 29 December 1928. It is one of the world’s oldest airlines still in operation.
With a fleet of 60 aircraft, LOT Polish Airlines operates a network to 90 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia.
LOT has also won numerous awards including “Best Airline in Eastern Europe” in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and has been hailed as one of the safest airlines in the world
