Lufthansa A321 on special world cup livery “Mannschaftsflieger”

Lufthansa special flight the “Mannschaftsflieger”, which is christened with the city name “Lindau”, took the German national soccer team to Russia to participate in the world cup.


The flight LH2018 departed Frankfurt Airport on 12 June at 1 p.m with 122 players, trainers, coaches, other supporting team members and 9 crew on board and landed at Vnukovo Airport (VKO), some 2,000 kilometres away.


The special “Mannschatsflieger” livery on the Airbus A321 with the well-known Fanhansa logo from the World Cup in 2014 painted on the fuselage of the aircraft.


The welcome panels next to the first two doors on the left side are signed by the players of the German National team.
