Ex Singapore Airlines A380 gets a new life with Hi Fly

Ex-Singapore Airlines A380 got a new life with Hi Fly,a Portuguese leasing airline. The Portuguese leasing airline Hi Fly has acquired an Airbus A380s from Dr.Peter Group. 

 

This aircraft was returned to Dr Peters Group in November 2017, and stored for six months as it couldn’t find another buyer. 

 

Today Hi Fly’s first Airbus A380 Registered 9H-MIP fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines, has landed in Malta and be transferred to the Safi Aviation Park, to be painted by ‘Aviation Cosmetics Malta Ltd’.

 

Hi Fly becomes the fourth European operator of A380, after British Airways, Lufthansa and Air France.

 

There are 13 airlines in the world operate A380s.
